I find the modern skunks to be a smaller growing variety here in the uk which don’t carry half the reputation the old ones used to, they are almost peaceful.

I am not sure I would have skunks with American cichlids. They are just too small.
But if you like skunks, I would highly recommend splendida, slightly larger than a skunk but with a beautiful patterned tail.

Long time responding but why not the berdmorei or helodes? Their tank is still waiting to be set up finally. They still just have the Texas in another tank and decided that they also want me to either set up an exodon or pirahna tank.
