i would like to see a atrical posted on mfk about how fish are died and repair im with u on this one but imo post count does not matter ur vocie should still be heard no matter how long u have been here

I agree... but when a new member comes out with something like this I think we should at least look twice before getting lumped in with them. I agree that I'm verry unhappy to know that people would do something like this to another of GODs creatures.

Don't get me wrong I love to eat fish but why cause something pain just to make it pretty to us...... shows some people will do anything for money.

I'm not a big fan of my local club either. Not to say that all clubs are this way, but alot of the people are pompous know-it-alls with egos bigger than their fish tanks. That doesn't have anything to do with this club, however. Either way, money talks and BS walks. ;)

i agree with repair but personaly i think pats pink barbs look so cool but its also so wrong that they do this so id never let my self do that and buy one

Every club has people like that.. heck we have a few.... but what you have to is find the people in the club that are like yourself and learn from each other and have a good time.

I wasnt trying to imply that the entire club is no good, although it may have came out that way, but the thing I dont understand is the editing and deleting of posts (Unless there is some offensive text which then would be understandable). The first impression left (to me) by manipulating someones words is that they are trying to hide something. No offense meant to you or any of the other considerate members.

Im not saying that i condone the dyeing process but havent you given a thought
about the fish in your tank, what it went through ( captive or wild ) , how many others were lost just to have that specimen in your tank ?

We all say dyeing is cruel, but keeping fish ,dare i say it, has its cruel sides too.

Just a little reflection to all of us in the hobby.

i agree with redtailfool we have to take a good look at all of our selfs and each one of us can not say we did some thing to a fish just because we needed money. like if some people have sick fish they flush or kill them. what i think is that we are obligated to take care of these fish and when worse comes to worse we cant through them away

Thats why I don't keep saltwater. I have a blue and red botia but I was told that it is their natual color... is this right?
