whenever i pass by to see my parents in hialeah gardens i always see 2 pairs of peacocks.ive tried EVERYTHING and they still dont bite!!!

during breeding season they will bite anything near their nest, though under those circumstances catch and release is very appropriate. try some topwaters or small rapalas in firetiger.

never had much luck with artifical bait...live shiners seems to work well with me....


but there had been times when live shiners did not work...just to show you part of fishing is luck :popcorn:

agree with you 100 percent. havent had much time for fishing this year but snakeheads always bite. no matter what season were in

yes they have. where i live(miami lakes) theres one strech of canal and lakes where theres lots of them. but from what ive seen they have a hard time with peacocks. i always see peacocks going through the nest of juvies and just annihilating everything

yeah there was a report released recently stating that the "impact" of the snakehead was way over exaggerated....they found more bass and peacocks with baby snakeheads in their stomachs than bass babies in the snakehead stomachs....just to show you all the warning and publicity about them is all political and full of shiiiiiiiiit.

i use to work in miami lakes off 57th ave by the airport...i fished in the canals around that area...where is the stretch of canals that you are referring to.
