Some of the more popular Venomous keepers are absolute idiots, and they have the scars and disfigurements to show for their stupidity..........Guess who the Govt's and people in power go to first? The popular idiots.........Like I really want them to set the guidelines on how I keep and handle Venomous animals.......

Zoos have very strict regulations on how to care fore, house, and handle these animals. Even if an idiot worked at a zoo, they would still have to follow those regulations and I can almost guarantee that this is what the law makers (at least those that don't want to completely ban hots) will base their laws off of. It would have nothing to do with a few individuals that are idiots. Another place that I bet regulations would come from would be places like venom labs. The people that run those are most definitely not idiots since they have to know quite a lot about the venoms they are extracting and in turn, the snakes they are keeping.
As far as the definition of zoos goes, I was meaning the larger city funded zoos that most people associate with the word, not the little road side zoos on your way to the everglades.
