LOGO DESIGN CONTEST

Okay, rough sketch so just trying to get the idea out only...... Onto the idea of the drawing, Its a great white with jaws slightly open with "OCEAN's" inside then a Manta swimming beneath filling in the bottom of the sketch with wings expanded and the tail making the "A" in Advocate. (I put waves underneath the "A" if you squint really hard you can see it) That way it can double as a sharks dorsal complementing the Advocate. I was planning on placing a Circle around the whole design with a slogan like, "Ocean's Advocate - Protecting the oceans APEX Marine Predators etc." I dont know your slogan for the establishment but just throwing out some options for you..... Smurph, if you can help me out with this it would be great I really liked your drawing of the White that you did and I think you can elaborate a lot more of my drawing than I really can in your more detailed sketches.
BIG - Im really diggin' the new design but not so much the addition of the teeth and I think you should also move the dorsal back 1 letter, also if you can make the first portion of the design a lot thicker in size to show the mass of these great creatures. The tail would look great if you can extend the top of the E outwards a little more and then use the middle part to actually divide the 2 (like this < if you know what I mean) that way it shows the shape of the tail a lot better. Other than that I think it really is coming together. Another thing I was thinking about was what if "we" (yes I said "we" I consider this small group of people my SW family here *you guys know who you are*) actually made a Manta with the words "Ocean's" then a Shark with the words "Advocate" just throwing it out there really, no need to really do it or anything.
Or we can do like a landscaping theme as well, as in draw a underwater pic but the water level is still visible with say a Mt. in the background or something of the sort then you have your multiple sharks and rays swimming around in the pic above a
Reef as in saying we are out to save these majestic creatures of the sea as well as their habitat as well. Now dont get me wrong I dont mean draw a HUGE landscape drawing of it, but just like make a large circle and we can fit it inside there with the slogan on the outside.... again these are just suggestions only.

I really like how the design is comin Big, but I agree, maybe we should leave out the teeth..mmm seems a little too "coloring book" like for me. Does that make sense? And I agree, play with the E a little more to define the lobes and try to bring in the middle of the E. Overall though I think you did an awesome job on it though!

I kinda like the teeth haha. Yoji I incorporated your landscape idea into my pic. I added a full coral reef into the background. Not quite finished. Will be done tonight though.
if somebody with steadier hands or a better program wants to take a whack at it by all means.. im still tweeking it should have another up later
Looks awesome Smurph, I would just change up the hammers looks kind of odd with them belly up dont you think!? You make me look like a pre-k student, LoL
