I liek to go to my LFS and sniff out the newbies and just rip them apart with all kinds of diffulcult questions lol as far as I know they have beware pics of me posted by the registers lol

Ask them the benefits of a protein skimmer or calcium reator for your freshwater 10g tank and really act interested in their answer. Tell them you used to use it ( up north / down south / out west / back east ) with great success with you fan tail guppies.
i love goin to petco or stores like that and just makin their employees look so stupid because they know nothing about the fish...........and my lfs i dont really mess with them cuz they're guys a lil older then me and they love fish keeping too.........i sometimes buy fish they want in the store though..............
Ha get this. I am in the my LFS and this customer is buying some fancy guppies. He wanted so many males and females and told the guy. The guy was like if they have this or that they are a male and if they look like that they are a female. I turned and go, actually you just look at the fin by their ass. If it is fan shaped it is a female and if it is tube like it is a male. I then turned and walked away shaking my head.....
If someone wanted to be a PITA in line ahead of me, I have a nasty habit of being a complete biotch behind them. Pay in quarters ahead of me and you get to hear me tell you what a f'ing retard you are the whole time.
But to mess with my LFS, I relish the oppurtunity when the new kid asks, "Do you know how much these were?" I have a handful of retorts: "fifteen cents," "99 cents", "buy one get one", "I'm not sure, I think it said they were 2.49."
