I'm not a snake head guy by any means, I just noticed this thread in the New Posts sections. I never realized that this was thought of as an American forum. I always thought we did a good job of being pretty international.
Sad that I may have to acknowledge a bit of truth regarding the "Monster Fish Keepers is frequented by large numbers of american adolescents who have kept fish for three days and consider themselves experts" comment, but I still feel this forum deserves more respect than I was given in that gentleman's post.
There is a lot of truth to it. I've been keeping fish for 16 years and I will be the first to admit I still have a lot to learn. I frequent this forum as there is a lot of information that I can benefit from, however there is also a lot of poor information as well. Everyone is entitled to their opinion.
That was very interesting but it has some truth in it. We do get a lot of trolls that think they know everything but I feel bad for that guy who was just trying to give correct advice and just got shot down
