What an Aro needs and what an Aro wants is two totally different things and this is what people in this argument need to look at. No footprint is technically able to cover the area that an Aro would travel in the wild so saying that any tank size would be sufficient would be ignorant. However a keeper can give the fish what it needs to live a long life, we as keepers cant really tell if the fish is as happy as it would be in the wild but we can keep it alive and healthy for quite a while. I look at my setups sometimes and think im doing a bad thing by keeping these beautiful fish in a cage, then i think of how beautiful they are to look at in that cage. I justify my keeping by knowing that the fish will be in better hands with me then it would be at an lfs or in somebodys 75 gallon tank. Either way its going to keep happening. So arguing about it isnt going to do anything. We on mfk need to help each other by playing the cards we're dealt by OP's and stop *****ing at them and other people in the forum. If you really cared that much about a fishes wellbeing you wouldnt be keeping any fish in a tank.
? Thats nothing...
But that's his choice, and I have no problem with it, as long as the arowana look healthy, and he can keep up with the water change schedule!
