i have had the similar problem, i did have an outbreak of internal parasites in my 125 which killed 8 fish, but my question is, this happens to some of my fish even after using jungle parasite meds, and double dosing, why is that?
How are you vacuuming your tank?
How often do you maintain your tank?

Internal parasites thrive in organic wastes accumulating at the bottom of the tank. When you are dealing with this particular issue, whether the parasites are hexamit, cestodes or nematodes, you must vacuum the substrate thoroughly. If you have to use waterborne treatments particularly by prazi or fenbendazole, reduce your substrate to at least an inch and vacuum thoroughly. The substrate thickness will allow the meds to penetrate all layers killing the larval stages and eggs (if the particular med is quite capable of that) in the process. Boil the rest of your substrate to kill off the larva and eggs.

I will have to get a pic...its not thin in anyway I dont think. I have had bloat with my africans and have seen the thin stuff from them.

im having a simalir problem i just got a 2 to 3 inch rtm about a week and a half ago and it was healthy and was eating omega pellets and hikari pellets . then just stopped eating and has stringy poo with a white looking ball at the end of it. its still kind of active chasin tank mates around but not as active as befor .it goes towards the food it seems intrested but does not eat. i dont think its bloat im more leanin towards internel parasite because the belly looks more thin than bloted. also no live foods at all.........

when a fish is fiercely chased by another fish, that can cause internal parasite; after a fish gets it, its body will turn dark and more likely be a goner. I had experience this with carpintis before.
