  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
got a 6" form shawn awhile back i could never get her to eat anything other than worms had for a yr died with no obvious signs. now recently got one from friend says been in captivity for i think 2 yrs but it also wouldn't eat other foods. shortly after i got her she turned into a eating machine doing great in a 480 by her self. no drip about 80 just lowered temp to 78 50% water change once a week ph 6.5 hoping to keep for along time we will see. question what size do they really start to show ther true colors?

not sure but i also am not convenced auto drip is the secret to a heathier flower not sure way they do not make it long term. i know Darin had a huge one that was around for a while he had it and someone had it before him this has been awhile ago so don't remember detail.

I have had best success with my flower dripping just like skynoch but also adding a 3rd backup carbon block 1 micron and using reverse osmosis to lower the Tds .what comes out of my dripper has Tds of about 250 -300 but with the use of to water I cut that down to about 200uS or 100 ppm. The flower is extremely active always and loves what I provide for him. Mines only 14" though maybe 3-4 years old .i got him as a small 9" ray a year ago , he lived in a lfs for a year before I bought him also.

If I had ro running when I had my tiger I bet he would still be alive! Ive heard stories of ppl ordering dozens and dozens of flower and tigers and loosing majority or all of them.

If anybody knows a good source for tiger rays I would love to know

i am not either, i was also dripping when i lost mine. have been since i had him.

Drip ro and they won't die

It does take some degree of skill and experience to feed a tank with a ro drip I wouldn't recommend it to very many people off this site based on the things I read
