i have had mine for a lil over 1.5 years now. previous owner had him for 6 months? He is pushing 16" front to back across disk. He is in a 225 6'x30"x2' He is fed tilapia, shrimp and hikari sinking gold pellets. I used to run a drip, but i have since pulled off the emitter and just let the water spray in for about 2 hrs every 2 days. The water goes through 2 carbons and a sediment filter first. tank water is usually around 28 degrees celcius. I have a aqua 15watt uv, 1 nu-clear cannister for mech, and an ultima II 1000 bead filter. Hes doing great, albeit he has taken down some of his fish roomates.
