The scenario gets worse....and better.

I picked up an 11" female histrix that was a return to Scott's Pet Shop in Westchester, Illinois. I also picked up an 8" female histrix from fishguy306.

At one time I did have three large females >8" in diameter and two large males (>10" in diameter. Unfortunately, I just lost my 10" female to a bad water change. The city must haved upped the chemicals to kill something off.

She was dead within 2 hours.

I lost my first retic exactly the same way. He didnt die right away but became ill within hours after the change and suffered for five days before he finally gave in.

I kept my first ray a retic for 3 months, got her at about 3in and got her to 5in before I sold her.

My first motoro got I have had for about 2 months. My new male motoro I have had for a couple weeks now.

4 months, 19 rays, 2 from TFD died in a couple days of having them, weird... , sold 2 and still have 15. 2 for 4 months now the rest are relatively new

grrrr your to lucky i need to start checkin all those pet stores once a month now
