Hey all. Here are my two longnoses gars - aptly named Osu and Osseus. They're both around ten inches long and eating anything non-live that I toss in the tank. These two are close companions and spend most of their time together. Please don't mind the camera-happy florida gar named Incus.

Nice looking gars you got there. Longnose are fast becoming my favorite gar type, I just wished they would be a little thicker. Does your longnose eat pellets? It's great fun watching mine move the pellets down it's mouth.:D

They try to eat pellets but take too long and usually have them stolen by the black arowana.

Thanks Alex

Many thanks!

It seems that only one of them is a longnose gar while the other more spotted one is a florida/spotted gar. Any more pics of them?

There are two, they just would not stay together when the camera was out. The third gar in the photos is a florida gar. I can probably get some shots with both longnose gars featured, but in the meantime I assure you that there are two in the tank.

Here's a picture of them before they were shipped to me. (purchased from username 'ashleysomething'). They're about an inch longer now. :)
