Need Input
Well I just got back from my LFS. I'm helping out there this weekend due to christmas. I was talking to the owner and he said that the tank I am thinking about getting is probably a piece of crap. He said that the guy who made the Red Lobsters tanks for the area sucks and that his tanks tend to bust. So I'm thinking about not getting it.....
How does everyone else feel about this?
Should I listen to him and not get it or get it?
I'm leaning towards passing on it. Sure it's cheap, but that's 520 gallons on the floor. Ya know what I mean?
Some input would be much appreciated. I am probably going to go check out this tank out tomorrow. So quick responses are welcomed......

If it is a plywood tank and not a glass or acrylic I would pass. Based on the dimensions I would have probably passed anyway but it would make an amazing planted or mangrove type tank. Oh well.

The front piece of glass is probably worth that amount lol....I would take it and make a new ply tank and use the piece of glass as a front

i dunno if you've seen it yet, but until then, the material in itself is pretty worth it*
lol you could make a bunch of plywood tanks- 2x 10.5 long plywood tanks
How reliable is the word of the LFS owner advising you it is a piece of crap? either way if your gut says don't get it then don't, although it is hard to pass up tanks
I'm still thinking about getting it......It's such a good price......
