Here is the best advice I can give you. When the eggs hatch and the fry grow and grow and finally reach 1". You need to reach in the tank with a rather large net, swoop out at least 6 young fish, bag them up and send them to me. In doing this you'll be taking stress off of your bio-load and there will be more food to go around for the remaining fish.

just a batch of eggs right now, the female con is only about an inch so there arent many eggs.

Ha ha...well at least they aren't in the same tank. If ya end up with fry, I wonder if you were to move the convict fry in with the doviis, if the doviis would raise the con fry.
