He claimed that he grew out the turtles.....so why he don't have these turtles right now since they are long lived?

Those turtle lagoons are far too small for any species of turtle to be in. Like today my biology teacher got two red eared sliders at about 9" and he has them in what I believe is a 29 gallon tank. They turn around and hit the glass. Something like that is not right. People everywhere keep turtles in small enclosures not realizing their size. I know every species of turtle with the exception of some mud and musk turtles and southern painted turtles. No other turtles can be kept in a 55 gallon tank. I realize this. Which is why I am planning on setting up a turtle only large 200+ gallon tank.

What about your poor precious oscar? Didn't he has a saying in this?

So his eyes were already white when you put it in the tank? Then why'd you keep him? Otherwise you can't determine it wasn't your fault.

Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using MonsterAquariaNetwork App

No when I got him he looked fine. I came home one day and he had white eyes and his head was extended completely. The guy I got him from said he was very skinny from when he had him and wasn't eating. I got him for free from my uncles friend who breeds reptiles. So I couldn't really get a refund.

He has two oscars and several other cichlids crammed into a 55g.

They are not crammed. uploadfromtaptalk1348707785008.jpg
That is crammed.
They can freely swim as they please and they have grown alot. Crammed would be not able to move. They are fine until they get to 12" which I still have time for. I am constantly looking for larger tanks. I have to buy my tanks with my own money. And for a 14 year old with no job this is hard to do. My allowance was also cut so I have absolutely no income. Other than my birthday next week. Which if I get enough money for I will buy a large tank. I'm trying

Then do a right thing. Let the turtle go and focus on your current fish.

Exactly, you have too much on your plate and adding the turtle is making it worse. If you can't care for them then you shouldn't have them. If you can barely handle the added cost of your fish adding a turtle is only gonna make it worse. Let the little guy go and worry about what you already have to deal with.

What are you talking about? First off I didn't "keep" killing natives. I not purposely killed 6 natives that I was told would survive. But the person who told me only had fish last overnight in very large water amounts. Not a 5 gallon bucket. I wasn't aware of this. Second, I had thought a 180 was that size. I'm sorry I don't know the exact dimensions. But that's not my fault. I never said I wanted to buy 3000 bass. I was looking into pond stocking and a pond my size was recommended to have If I recall correctly it was 1000 bass. And the website had a stocking package. Which it was that. 3000 bass would be outrageous. My pond is used for fishing and that's why I was thinking of fish in this amount. Not my fault. I also at the time wasn't aware of the size of the bass that are already in my pond. Which have babies every spring. I didn't realize at the time how crazy it was. But my pond is perfectly stocked. Besides catfish. I have only caught 2 catfish out of there and one was a 1 pound yellow bullhead and the other was a like 3 pound channel cat. That was why I was looking into catfish stocking. Actually I believe someone recommended putting in a crap load of bass and a couple catfish to have huge fish in there.

Actually that makes it 100% your fault for not knowing..... and by kept on killing meaning you tried at least two times to keep natives. And clearly you knew what I was talking about to respond to all my questions.

I need to spark up my fish life

I can care for the turtle. Like I said I'm growing him out. I will decide what I will do to him when he starts to grow.
