I get lots of baby's every spring and pike all kinds of baby's in the creaks

Here's the best pic I can get he's still really skittish, also ate another feeder minnow today. Does anybody have other suggestions for food? It seems like rosie reds are really good at dying and not much else LOL.

Buy minnows at a bait store. They'll be cheaper and probably a bit better as far as longevity goes.

Earthworms. I never have luck with bait store minnows, they always die in warmer water and often have ich.

Agreed on the earthworms with the eventual goal of getting it onto pellets.

Use earthworms then. baitstore minnows are a no-go. always caused me issues in the past.
