looking for a starter predator!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
looked into cichlids there awesome but wanted something a wee bit diff more ferocious like a piranha when eating but can live full life 75 gallon with a not a lrger total for everything tanks equipment etc more than 600-700 dollars. but remmember ive only kept lizards and a small 10 gallon community tank for almost 5 years now. cant get snakehead due to legal issues and piranhas to unactive. and all other predators just frikin eat and regurgatate rather than a awesome cool kill like piranhas do it like and snakeheads! any good fish to look for with my quaries?:naughty:

Well with a 75 you will be limited to large predators

These would need a huge tank, but the way bay snook feed is really interesting

there really isnt any Predator fish that could live in a 50 gallon. you can prolly get away with some sort of piranha but im not sure if those are legal where your at.

Piranhas are perfectly legal up here. Buti thi khes looking forsomething a little more active than a piranha. Plus they dont have the wow factor they used too.

yes i like how the piranha eats but cichlids just gulp! butttt dammmmmmm wish snake heads legal than I would buy a nice dwarf snake head! but other wise how about a bichir to go with a red devill or soem kinda cichlid where than can live a peacfull life some havoc is ok in a nice 75 gallon tank but for there whole lifes not having to get bigger tank but any smaller bichirs that I could possibly get with a cichlid? or a red wolf fish they look easy to care for tank size limmit is 40-50 gallons minimum with a cichlid?

I mean 40- 50 gallon minimum for the red wolf fish NOT the wolf fish. and with any cichlids in a 75 gallon where I dont have to upgrade tank size? or a bichir cichlid commbo?

cause really want some diversity in my tank im getting and wee bit more spice maybe just another fellow bottom dwelling predator that can live full life with a predator cichlid perferably the the red devil in a 75 gallon

A small wolf fish would be cool to have, dont think you could keep it with a birchir though - may end up as food for the wolf.
