looking for an interesting oddball fish

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
yup it is.
I kept them freshwater for about a month and now they are starting to get less active.. so its time for some change.

ha oh I love my ram that stays
as of now I think the german blue ram is one of my absolute favorites.
yeah that tank actually sounds pretty cool
have you seen the vampire tetra's that would be wicked

I think Leopard Bushfish and African Butterfly fish would be awesome in your tank! You'll probably have to get at least 3 of each. Otherwise, they aren't as active. I have 5 Butterflies and they are some of my favorite fish. They already take crickets and moths from my fingers and they are more active than most people think.
The Leopard Bushfish would (In my opinion) more interesting than a Leaf Fish. Leaf fish just sit there until there is food, but the Bushfish will come out swim around.

LOL - among the fish listed, it's gonna look like a blue dune buggy in a sandstorm, but that could be cool: :goldfish::goldfish::goldfish::uhoh::goldfish:

ha I really like the ananlogy
I went looking for a local store that can get me the leapard today.
and I talked to the people at petco and found out I can get the huge ropefish for 10 bucks instead of small ones for 15.
what a good day huh

My vote is for some Leopard Ctenopomas. I have a couple and they are really cool fish! They move in "stealth mode" and attack their prey with lightning speed. They are always on the prowl, and are happiest with good plant cover where they can move in the shadows.

another senegal bichir
maybe 2 breeding pairs of german blue rams
a glass knife or just another smaller knife.
leopard c.
and a butterfly fish.
obvioulsy some feeders
and like 10 neon tetra's silver tip tetra
and glo-lite tetras

and put in more plants hair grass microsword onions java fern and others
maybe do the thing were you get put floating plants on the back wall

this will be gradual ofcourse.

Glass knife will grow to the same size as elephant nose. Either would love to eat those tetras :D Sounds nice!
