i’ve got a space that is 12’ Long and can accommodate a 30” width -

i won’t skew results with how i’m leaning...

the 140” tank is glass - good for some fish i want to keep - but it weighs 900#’s.....

the 6’ers are more versatile....

the 8’ er is most usable.... but what would i put in a 4’ x30” x30” tank... too small for aimara -

if i could get past asthetics i could put the 4’ cube by my slider and make the 8’er 3’ wide....

i try to keep room nice here so wife stays happy ?

I say go for the gold, 140” all the way. 10 people would make it so that each person only has to carry 90 pounds each, 15 brings it down to 60, and 20 brings it down to 45.

covid ? -

it would be a situation of paying 10 task rabbit people - last time it cost me $300-$500 for 6 people -

logistically it’s hard.... i’m waiting on a bid from local aquarium install company -

thanks all for input!

I think of our tanks as furniture/art. They're all in our main rooms and I don't need to hear my mother in law noticing any algae.

140 all day.... a tank that size in that space would just flow so much better imo buy a bunch of friends lunch and ask for help getting it set up.... sometimes you need to spend a little more to get the best result lol

140 would look very clean and would flow in that space. I agree with BigDaddyMagnum BigDaddyMagnum , just buy some friends lunch under one condition.... The tank would be the centerpiece of the room, and instead of having tanks with all different widths and such, a large fish 4tank would look 100% better than your other choices.

The wife won't be happy when a 140" glass tank leaks...... get a custom acrylic (made by a reputable manufacturer) for that length

12 footer for sure...if you haven't already consider having it built on site if feasible. Or maybe even DIY that beast if you're up to the challenge.

i’ll research that - i like the glass for durability and able to keep large pleco in there - but getting it in is the issue - also filtration -

that is a good point, FTD can build one it seems...

also if it’s one tank only - i suppose it’s ok for kelberi and potentially a Jardini - or smaller bass -

Going to keep Bass, Arowana (s) African Congo Fish (bichir/afer) , and Aimara at this point -
