Ya know exum, I’ve read about tanks where they are a combination of acrylic and glass, I’m not well versed on the topic but perhaps it could be something you look into?

ya, had to pull my L014 out of my 625g when i saw the teeth on the acyrlic - it’s my first acyrlic.... id imagine other pleco are less prone to surfing the glass...

might be.... i may be able to get 3-5 guys at $50-$75 per hour ... but $200 per hour.... almost be cheaper to build some kind of rail system....

i think last time i paid 3 dudes from task rabbit a few hundred plus the 3 dudes from the tank manufacturing company....

labor costs here are outta control ?

A walkway made of plywood, maybe 2 sheets thick to keep it level, each about .75” thick, make a big cart on wheels, use car jacks to lift it up, one on each side. Any potential in that idea?

As someone who builds railroads for a living....most expensive option yet lol

Can you snap a picture of the approach from the curb and the route the tank would have to take to get to that glass door? If you can get that thing rolling on some dollies I think you got a shot with a few able bodied persons.

But in all honesty I would expect something like $1k just to get the thing in to the house and set. Definitely pricy but I will say a monster piece of glass like that would be quite impressive once set up. I personally believe glass is just as safe as acrylic if properly built and set up, but find glass tanks much more appealing and durable.

i think i’m ok with $1k - maybe the local aquarium install company will come back with a bid.... i’ve gotten crickets so far....

sadly i live on a hill -

the pink arrow is the path we took with the 625g -

the yellow arrow would have to take out a window....

the front topography is easy until backyard...
