i had angels in a 46 bowfront with a filter putting out 265gph and they were fine with the current and would actually play in it every so often, but you could with angels, but i would get a large group of tiger barbs
the current is coming from the 2217's spraybar, but i could easily drill out the holes on the spraybar to reduce the current and add a powerhead to the otherside of the tank to get water flow to keep waste and food from settling there, and push it towards the filter intake.
Seriously, get some Widebar Silver Dollars. They're probably the most active fish I've ever had, plus they shoal together if you have a group of 4-5 or more. They look really cool and are always swimming around the tank. I think the design of your tank is pretty good too btw.
Leopard ctenapoma? I have two in with my fish, including two bichers.
I have 4 power heads, 2 airstones and a side mount filter so current is moderate to strong IMO.
They seem to eat the same stuff and pretty much ignore each other.
Quite active in the daytime, and come to the glass to have stare downs when you come near.
i have been seriously considering them, i like the look of them, and they seem interesting.
How would they do with my black ghost knife? i know the BGK can be injured easily due to its soft body, would the Leopard Ctenapoma be aggresive twords the BGK?
