Looking forward to my Fish Shipment arriving ;)

I was not in the office today and just arrived now to check on all the orders that were shipped out. I did receive an email from Fedex notifying us that they were having delays in most of the east coast hubs due to the backed up packages from July 4th. I am checking on all the orders now and seeing what was picked up and what was not. I will send you a followup email once I have gone through everything. Sorry for the late email

I am sorry but from the looks of it since I was out of the office no one steppe in to my office to take calls or messages. I checked the phones though they were not out of service just being neglected due to untrained staff that pertains to my position and duties. I sent you an earlier email in reply to the last one you sent me. I just finished speaking with the owner and it seems that Fedex delayed all of our packages from getting on the flights. All packages were picked up again around 11;00 PM and replaced into their tanks to reduce stress. I will be calling FedEx in the morning to make sure there are no further delays especially since its Live Fish that we are dealing with and not inanimate objects. I am sorry for the delay I am sending an email to everyone whose package was delayed. I will be in the office again at 11:00 am if you need to speak with me in person.

Oh ok cool. Sounds like pretty cool sizes to me. I can always grow out the BGK. Love lima shovelnose. That sounds like a pretty great size.

All good.

The fact that you can get delivery essily is great. There is one shop here that does airport to airport. Otherwise finding rare stuff can be hard.

If I may ask what are the communities like there? From local forums I have received both free plants and osmocote couriered to me and some shrimp from a close by member. They told me to sell the extra plants and breed the shrimp to help me fund my projects. Made 30 bucks off of extra plants :D

Knifefish are cool, I love mine. Hope the BGK survives shipping

Thank you, I am sure they will arrive safe and sound tomorrow. They are shipping out tonight so I am sure they will be good,.

The communities here are pretty good. I talk to some of the fish keepers and we trade fish every now and then. Most of the people in my area keep feeder fish (aka tetras and stuff) lol but there are people who keep fancy plecos and stuff.
 
I asked for some pics or a pic of the bgk and lima shovelnose.

We have a good variation of keepers. Few monster tanks here though

I keep everything from shrimp to polypterus. The small fish are a lot of fun too

That's awesome. I don't believe anyone from my area is on MFK. Most of the people I know have african cichlids, tetras, community aquariums, however a big majority of them are Saltwater. The freshwater hobby has decreased down here and saltwater has become the norm. I don't go to my lfs anymore because it's mostly all rare saltwater and bread and butter fresh. Don't get me wrong I have 2 saltwater aquariums but love both sides of the aquarium hobby. I have to order some common freshwater stuff online now. Hoping some day another Western MA fish keeper joins me on MFK soon.

We have a LOT of African cichlids here too. Some SW, but not too much.

I'm part of 2 local forums, one general and one planted. It's really awesome

That is cool.... I will see if I can find some fish forums in Western MA.
