Yep, agree with the kershaw, I have one, not sure its name but it as assisted open and great. Only paid $50 on amazon.com for it.

Kershaw!! I have a Tanto Blur that i have beat up pretty bad and still is in awesome working condition. Ive had it for about 3 or 4 years now and the spring assit is still plenty strong and the lock is positive.

I had one of those that lasted less than two weeks; the tip broke off when I tried to carve a stick with it...

send it back to them. they will replace the blade for free. mine is going back soon since i have woren the teeth on the seration down.

I ended up returning it. That's the only problem that I have ever had with a Kershaw, but I think the problem was more with the blade shape rather than how it was made.
