I actually think instead of a wet pet I might do a group of them, that could be a great tank I think
Online aquatic store have one of the larger in that species for sale, don’t know the exact name but they labelled it as a dolphin fish

My suggestion? Find fish that you absolutely love and then settle down for the grind. It's awesome to sit down to a nice tank full of stuff you love after a day at school

How adding a land area above the water line and adding:
1 garter snake
1 water snake
And 1 corn snake,
1 garter snake
1 water snake
And 1 corn snake,
If you want something simple for a bichir then go for a senegal bichir. If you want something a bit more interesting look for a short body version

The more manageable bunch include Senegals (love them), delhezi, palmas etc.
I keep senegals and ropes, lots of fun!
I always thought of doing that but making it into a paludarium instead of building upwards
