Sorry for the loss. Sometimes these cb uj are not equipped to be eating large amounts frequently. Depending on the poly. Even at 2, 3, or 4 day intervals is too much for their digestive organs. It's a difficult task when there's other fishes in the tank (cichlid & others).

Well he must have been too far gone. I wasn't able to help him but I'm going to try and prevent the others from having problems. The tank inhabitants are 3 ornates, 1 del, 2 chocolate cichlids, and one spotted sev. They're all around 5-6 besides the 1 del, he's getting huge fast. There is also 1 ornate that stands out more than the other two ornates, he's getting bigger faster than the others as well. Thicker too. The chocolate cichlids are turds. I drop food on one side of the tank and hurry over and drop food on the other side for the polys. The cichlids are absolute pigs and they're growing SO fast. They were little babys when I got them in from Wetspot and they so big now. They try to eat everything in the tank before everyone else and you can see the food hanging out of their mouths. I do make sure every fish eats though. I watch closely.

I feed every morning. I feed filets some days and pellets other days. I figured while they're all relatively small I should feed them everyday but I might feed every other day for now on.

Thank you guys for the concern and helpful tips!
Sorry to hear that:(
Are you getting more del?

This is one of the reasons I don't mix smaller specie uj and lj together. I use to have a 10" sen and delhezi. Saw how resilient they were and it was a eating contest each time, lol... knew they had to be rehomed asap. If I had cichlids(fast eating machines!) and other slow eating fishes that needed their share. I'd be in trouble with those two for sure.
