Yea I've never heard of me to neglet my fish but to all that support me thank you I've started all over got myself a pair of juvi jack dempseys wich are my fav cichlids I will be updating in new thread...R.I.P to my 5year old jack hope she's in a good place

Yeah i dont worry about my fish till it gets near a week and I know they are expecting a water change. Not eating for a week isnt a huge deal to adult fish. Im sure in the wild times can be pretty tough

Left my tanks for several days at a time every so often, and nothing happens. Just need to make sure everything is right before you leave.

Sorry to hear that. 3 days is nothing guys.

I am going on vacation to Las Vegas this week on the 15th and will be gone for 10 days. Will be back on the 25th, I won't be worried. Cichlids in the wild go for weeks without eating sometimes.

I have a battery backup for my fish tanks filter and heater it lasts for an hour if the power goes out. It is actually pretty cool.
