I meant 5 ppm.. I was out and about and just remembered it was kind of inbetween the first and second color or whatever.
Huh? And I'm about to head off to school ): I'll be back in like 3 hours and i'll do a huge ass WC lol. and what will the air stone do? Just surface agitation? I got my HOB on now and it's doing plenty of that.
As in Air pump and air stone with the stone at the bottom of the tank where your fish spend a lot of their time.
How does that benefit them?
& I apologize if i'm coming off as trying to argue with you. I'm not at all. I'm just super concerned and trying to figure everything out.
With my Columbian sharks in my 29 gallon my HOB was never enough. Note they were not in there by design. My larger tank leaked and they had to be moved to the 29 for 2 weeks.
I could put my FX5 a little bit more at the surface when I do my WC..
Also can anyone explain why some of my fish died, and not all of them?

Don't worry about how you come off. I'd be freaking out too. With issues like these adding oxygen to the water can only help.
If seeing that somehow helps us help you protect what fish are left I wanna see it. As to why some survived I'd say it's simply about the ones who survived being stronger and more hardy.
