love for monster fish

Parents got me a 10gal with goldfish at age 11
Friend game me a 20gal at age 24
Aunt and Uncle gave me their 135gal
After that it was down hill.
With in the last 3-4 years I've bought a 10gal, 40gal, 30gal (future wifey's tank), 80gal, 180, and a 300gal. Looking to replace the 135 with a 240gal and the 300gal with a +500gal tank in the next 2 to 3 years. We ended up also buying a house two year ago that had the wall space for my aquariums.
 
My dad has always loved fish, and that passion rubbed off on me. Now I go swimming with pretty corral reef fishies every other summer. Getting a 10g in my dorm room soon.
 
Kept monsters my whole life. When i was little, my dad always had a 20g that he would keep one solitary shubunkin in. The last one we had before i researched was about 10" in a 20g :P

After that It grew and grew and spiraled out of control.
 
well i owned a turtle for 5 years now and a frog and theybare compkete kmonsters so i became mroe and more educated botu them when i disacovered fish and from there i wansted all monsters nothign else would do.
 
Just started mostly because i saw a bichir that the stores all called dinosaur eels . took me awhile to get started but my tank now is cycling so hopefully in a few weeks I'll have my first monsters a Bichir and a pleco all I have right now are a pair of gouramis to cycle the tank
 
My dad got me into the hobby. He taught me some bad things though. I am still learning 15 years later.
 
It all started when i was hanging out at a friends house like 6 or 7 years ago. At his house he had a 100 gal. and kept a big Jardini Aro and a like 8 other cichlids. I was amazed at how beautiful they looked as they were swimming around very peacefully and elegantly! After that day... i was determined to go buy myself a fish tank so can just sit and enjoy watching my fishes... its very relaxing to watch a beautiful aquarium with fishes!
So i started with a 55 gal. then one or two years later, upgraded to a 125... then i went fish crazy and upgraded to a 370 Gal!:headbang2:headbang2
But thats not the only tank i have running...:naughty:
