i just picked up this guy last week . it couldnt compete for food with his leopoldi. great colours for 11" and its always been on light sand. put it in with my motoros and it has to be the most tenacious feeder i have seen. pounces on everything that moves including a 7" geophagus that eventually got away!
favourite ray by far
Have not told my girlfriend that the 8x3 wont last for more than a couple of years!!! oh well now she likes the ray will have to mlook after it properly!

Gorgeous flowers! I wish we still had our little girl . She was by far the most aggresive ray we have ever owned. They are incredible rays, one of my favorites.

Awesome flowers! I just picked up another small one that I'm hoping will make it; only a few days so far and hasn't eaten, but it's taken me over 2 weeks in the past to get newly imported flowers eating.

I'm interested in finding more about this as well - I have a male that's 10" now and nowhere even close to starting to develop his claspers. Every once in a while I have to re-check just to make sure he is actually a male because they're that hard to see.

Nice pictures!
i like the one in the last two shots best,the patterns less busy and the base colour is somewhat paler.....just my preference,they are both fine examples.
