Low Iron vs Regular Glass

I have 1/2" starphire on my peninsula. I would do it again. But I do think it depends on the tank size and the price difference. I have read low iron shows better in pictures for those who tend to take pictures .

I’d go with regular. I personally have owned multiple tanks of both. I cannot tell the difference. Here’s a good comparison. These are two of my old marineland 300 gallon starfire front tanks. Sides are regular.

I’ve read it’s way softer, and above poster also said that. So you’d need to be super careful with it.

Big question is what’s going in it? Yellow discus on a white background you might get annoyed by the green tint. A black stingray on a black background, who cares.
