This goes in the output hose line. You cut the hose and insert it in the clean water return hose.
just looked it up. I like the concept that it heats the water and sends it back into the system. hmmmmm. I'll have to look around for the receipt for the Hydor subsmersible heaters.

I used to have some hydor inline heaters custom plumbed into my 210g but when I set up the 300 I just used conventional heaters. I really hate the heaters in the tank and when I get time will likely redo an inline heater set up again.

Sweet, I bought a bag of Poly-fil a while back. Do you also use the bioballs and ceramic media too?

How often do you clean the cannisters? do water changes? I do not know anything about cannister filters.

Bio media is absolutely an essential, so you need to use some sort of media. I only use ceramic media, but a lot of people use plastic bioballs with success. So, its up to you.

I strive to clean the my canisters once a month, but I often slack and go months between cleaning. However, one thing I don't slack on is water changes. I do over 50% w/c twice a week.

By the way clm08k clm08k has weeksii, delhezi and ornate on fishonlinerus on eBay.

I think those were the ones I were looking for right? If so you can contact them and combine all 3 with a one time shipping charge. Some eBay sellers are willing to do this if you get more than one item. Just a FYI.

thanks! yep the big three is what I'm thinking. Would a del more likely to hang with an ornate than a senegal?
