Dels are wondrfull fish and grow fast cus they eat like pigs so he should be fine with the ornate(if you get it).

If your looking for ceramic media check amazon when I got my 406 I got like 7 bags of ceramic off amazon for the cost of 2 bags of the fluval ones at the LFS. Filled all my trays on the 406 with it but the first one thats polyfill sponge.

thanks! This is great to know. Should I do ceramic and bioballs? so first tray(one on the top or bottom) is poly fill, other trays are ceramic?

Del is in QT right now. Still need to set the larger tank back up. Waiting on the canister filter.
