Remind me/us again, please, how to get this species or morph of tinfoil? Is it a known species or morph and is it identifiable when sold at small size?

there are two species of tinfoil, the red tail and the black barred. The black barred, at least in Canada, is hard to find. I've kept and raised many groups of tinfoils since the 80s but this is the first black barred ones I've ever raised up and they are the most colorful I've ever had. I've had some red tails (no bars) get slightly larger than these before but not nearly as colorful. The red black and white dorsal fin is stunning on these. Try asking your local fish store to get some in or your local aquarium club.

B. schwanenfeldii = black bars and deeper red. As juvenile with black spot in the dorsal fin. Black spot has white/silver seem on top.
B. altus = red fins with lighter red, body with a golden tint. As juvenile with black spot in the dorsal fin. Black spot often smaller compared to schwanenfeldii. Black goes till the top of the dorsal fin. No white/silver seem around the black spot.
