some guys just gave me 2X 20 inch silver Aros! Male/female I'm in love hahaha
I had no choice to put them in my 130g, but my question is, will I be alright if i buy a 265g to hold them and a pacu?

How long does they take to breed?

Ditch the pacu, they can be real bastards and why mess up a pair of nice aros to keep a pacu. Congrats on the aros.

i was gonna take them and put them in a 265g with:

Brochis Splenden X3
Metynnis hypsauchen X5
Corydoras julii X3
Agamyxis pectinifrons
Colossoma bidens
Hypostomus plecostomus
Pterygoplichthys gibbiceps


with a lot of dritfwoods and Echinodorus Amazon


I have another question, 20 inch Aros, how much they worth?

some of the fishes you listed are tiny in comparison and will probably end up being dinner.

my corydoras will be fine because like i said, i wont be easy on driftwood on the bottom!..so that the Aros wont pass?
Silver dolalrs are full grown already..i have no prob there...

how do you prevent drop eye?

Nice pickup but I will get rid of the pacu and my lfs has a couple of arrows around that size and they are about in the 200 to 300$ range and again ditch the PACU

Don't let anyone talk you into losing the pacu. It's your fish. If they don't like them then they shouldn't own one.

The 265 might be a bit crowded with the two aros and a big pacu in there, not to mention the other fish. But it would certainly be better than the 130 that they are in now. Got any pics for us?
