Actually she isnt as bad as I was expecting. Yes she is very loud when she does scream I can hear her easily outside of my house when I am sitting in the car but she only really does it in the morning when we wake up and when she is going to bed. Right now at work we have 2 sun conures and I would mutch rather deal with a macaw then them. And she has been replacing the screaming alot with words instead. She says hello all of the time and is starting to say whats that. Then she also says step up and ouch she learned this from my mom b/c she always used to bite her and my mom would say ouch everytime it was funny whe she was getting her wings clipped she said ouch it was just the perfect timing.
The shop also has an Elenora cockatoo and he is LOUD when he wants to be. He is also starting to speak though too, so now he just repeatedly says "hello" instead of screaming, which while annoying sometimes, is much better than a scream that makes your ears ring

WOW!!! I want one!

Ya it was really nice when she decided to start talking instead of screaming it can be tuned out a little bit easier. If you do decide to get one be ready to put in alot of time and patience they take a whole lot of it. And I will try and get some full cage shots up soon I dont have my camera now so it will be a little while before I get to.

wow- youre baby is so cute! she has all the colors of the rainbow-so pretty! you should get her some of those cool big bird toys-like the twisted ropes and stuff...i bet she'd love those! lol

Oh she has tons of those you just can see them in the pics I spent like $150 on toys and she is going through them very quickly. I bought her one that is like 20 pounds with rope, beads, bells, blocks, beads and leather I thought she would love it and she has touvh it once... Yet she loves the empty water bottle I left on the floor while she was playing. She is just like a kid you but them some huge toy an they have more fun with the box it came in.lol

Yep, the caique at the shop has several toys in his cage that he does play with, but his absolute favorite toy: paper....plain old sheet of paper from a small note pad, he hops on top of it, chews off pieces, shakes it in his mouth like a dog...

The Elenora loves the rope/wood/bead toys but he destroys them so quickly...I'm glad the store pays for them and not me....

well i definitely know how that goes..my too would rather play with a bottle cap than the $50 toy i got him two weeks ago..lol.
