gt's are the worst in my opinionon to loose there colors and personalities are so unique and distinguished from one gt to the next.
sorry you lost such a beautiful fish bro. Did you ever find out what it was? if its not to late take your water or a bit of your fish to a aquarium store see if they can diagnose it. I know the place here locally can text flesh scales and water for diseases.
