I bet it's dead by Friday. :(

yes i did rescue him because if i didnt buy him he would still be at the smaller tank so he is now in bigger tank so whats better him being in smaller tank or bigger tank i will ask 480 gallon for my birthday so u can stop tellin me to give my fish away when u dont want to keep ur fish from swimming in the ocean free like they should be like happy u want them to be? yes i care about my fish thats why i ask here whats wrong so dont tell me i dont care about fish ok thanx i think u dont know what ur doing if u only keep one puffer thats not mbu thanx

Stop raging and take the advice. I doubt it was a mbu. If he can't afford a large tank he can't afford a puffer like a mbu. Post a picture for proof!! I agree that it's possibly a green spotted puffer. So you just keep on raging at actually fish keepers!

First off how much did you pay for him? That could tell us if its really a Mbu. Well a lot of Mbu in pet stores if they had it along time generally don't get anything to eat that they want. They get skinny and weak very quickly. They don't eat feeders, don't eat pellets or flakes. They like shell foods like snails clams in there shells, live Crayfish they'll eat frozen whole shrimps. Most pet stores will not spend the money for these food or even have them on had to feed them. So its very likely your Mbu has not eaten for a while and has gotten very weak and possibly sick from malnutrition.
Go buy some frozen clams in there shell or get some snails if he's hungry he will eat it.

Interesting...

Offering even the correct food to an 8" fish crammed into an uncycled 20g tank is not helping. This fish is dying from ammonia/nitrite poisoning, it's not going to eat!

I would never wish death upon any
Living thing, but maybe that's what this kid needs to learn a lesson. Don't ask a question if you're just going to argue the advice.
