I’ve got a breeding colony of these very cool long arm shrimp and am looking to thin down the group a bit. They grow to around 3” and the dominant males have claws almost as long as their bodies. They also have tons of personality - way more interactive and outgoing than the more common neocaridina shrimp. My big ones usually come rushing over to the front of the tank when they seem me.
They’re not super aggressive like other larger macrobrachium and I n my experience they can be housed safely with mid sized fish (I’ve got some with hillstream loaches, gobies, small barbs and kribs). They are opportunists and I’ve seen them go after fry, so I wouldn’t house them with microfish. They also hunt snails.
I’m selling ~1” sub-adults for $10, ~2” adults for $20.
Pick up in the Bronx or willing to meet up or deliver around NYC/Westchester.
