I wouldn't say Moose is exotic compared my other cat. But he does have some differences.
-His ears are larger and filled with thick white hair for insulation as well as being tipped.
-His feet are 3 times larger than a domestic shorthairs, (very visible in the pics) and he has 7 toes per foot as well as a thick dense patch of hair between his toes and on the bottoms of his feet for running on snow.
-His tail his much longer and MUCH thicker.
-His coat is double layered, one longer gloss and one short insulator for the cold
-He has thick hair around his britches and stomach to protect from cold
-His skeleton is much bigger and more robust, he's not agile, hes very strong.
-He cannot meow like most cats, his voice is more like a trill or squeal.
-He lacks a fear of water entirely.
I wouldn't classify any of these traits as exotic, but in person there is no mistaking him for a normal domestic cat.
