it will never stop when you think about it.... people want rays in there collections and will pay or do what is necessary to obtain them.... also i know of several previous vendors that shipped to cali on a reg basis for a extra fee.... some people dont know but the ones who do wont stop trying till they get what they want....
 
rays are very easy to obtain in cali anyways. Just have to look closely...
 
its also a lack of research people should do b4 wanting a ray or any other fish, if the member would have done any little bit of research on rays in the forums and read the stickys they woould know its illligal. so its either 2 things, there dumb pet owners that do not do the proper research b4 geting an animal. or they do and they just dont care if they get caught and there the ones that ruin it for everyone else. :)

Zero.
I have since switched to "Non-Insane Automatism".
Works every time.;)

Non-Insane Automatism
Automatism is when the defendant is unable to control his muscles because they acted without the control of his mind. In these circumstances he will not be held blameworthy...
The judges here would roll off the bench laughing their asses off!!!
 
I am type one diabetic. You'd be surprised what you can get away with after an "accidental" overdose of insulin.
It messes up cognitive reasoning. So you can't be held responsible for decisions made when not of sound mind. And because it is a temporary condition no treatment is necessary. (like being held indefinitely in a psych ward while they cure your insanity)
And if you are acquitted no record of arrest, trial or history of defense is considered the next time you use it.
I did once hit the same judge twice so didn't try it. I plead guilty to a minor offense. Because I had no similar convictions on record I fell into first offense status, was found conditionally guilty. Had to pay a large fine to a charity of choice from a given list (Diabetic Foundation). I negotiated the fine down, as it was hardship, citing I clearly had no money, why else would I be stealing?
After 1 year of no similar arrests it was taken off my record.
