Was messing around last night with a old tank, a pump some garden hose etc, made this contraption to filter a 3ft tank, is it effective?
Im not an expert, but I think you want a solid stop between the lava rock and the pump. My confusion is when water needs to go over and when it goes under. As you have it now, water comes down, and can go straight to the pump instead of first going through the lava rock. Like I said I could be wrong
Doesn't matter anymore lol the tank cracked straight down the middle of the bottom glass so it's all gone
