I personally think yes you should. With the light weight no othe fish should jump out. The only thing is evaporation of water, but you are good with the water changes you do.
 
Just lower the water level a little bit, about 6" from top. You will be alright.
 
Lowering the water is the best for them for now atleast, cause they do not have to go all the way up... or u could do is place drift wood upto the top or some floating plants... i recently got one and he is probably half the size of urs and all he does is hang around in the top or the plants... urs look good. got some nice meat on as well ;)
 
Ahh man, this is gonna be difficult. I'm a girl who models, and is 100% UTD in the fashion world, and loves to aquascape! Beauty is my thanngg bro. I'm gonna have to find some way to make a low water level look good.

I need ideas!
