Do you have a pic of the tip of the tail Jim, new one on me this. Because the ray has had 3 full days of inactivity there is every chance one of the others not least the Polypterus could have chewed the end of his tail whilst he is in this state just before you moved him?
My guess is there is little or no improvement otherwise you would have posted.

Definitely will keep the up dates coming mate. Next one will be 8 a.m tomorrow morning.I genuinely think he could look somewhat better by morning from what I am hearing, lets not get carried away but at the same time be quietly confident.
If he does recover he will probably not feed for several weeks, again his super condition prior to getting stung will stand him in good stead hopefully.
