Male HRP as "wet pet"??

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Okay so he's been in the "box" for about a week, the second male that I knew about has stepped up and colored up just like the alpha was before he was in the box, but relentlessly chases the smallest of the 3 not in the box (slightly over an inch), but doesn't chase the middle one that much... I'm not sure if he's trying to pair with the other one or not because sometimes he chases "her", but not like a pair would chase (I own convicts too). My alpha has paled out quite a bit, probably because the other male has become dominant.

What do you think I should do?

Letting him out puts you back to square 1. If a pair has formed and thats your goal, move the more aggressive male on and let your new pair develope.

I don't plan to release him back in with them yet, the 3 of them are still figuring things out I think... Spotted the second male flaring at the male in the box today, good sign i guess, besides that the second male is colored up and the alpha is pale...

He hasn't chosen anyone yet to be his, but he will chase the others once in a while...

Nice HRP sir.
