Lets see, local officials would have to subpoena MFK. MFK could give up the last IP I logged in from. .

Actually, we give them the IP the member registered with, along with the confirmation email address. Aside from the IP, there's the carrier ISP ID which also comes up on an IP trace. The carrier has the billing address of the account the email addy(s) is/are assigned to. At least, ...that's what happened before.
