its was 10 inches already, if its a female then how come its wont lay eegs yet? i guess its a male, its a cross breed with something for sure, so the black marking in dorsal fin and humps is possible to apply this one.

But most of the time, female will lay eggs once they are mature enough to lay eggs. And at 10", it should have definitely lay eggs before if it's a female.
