its was 10 inches already, if its a female then how come its wont lay eegs yet? i guess its a male, its a cross breed with something for sure, so the black marking in dorsal fin and humps is possible to apply this one.

Hmm, good point. If this fish have never layed eggs, then it might not be a female after all. There are a few occasions where the male come out looking like a female. But most of the time, female will lay eggs once they are mature enough to lay eggs. And at 10", it should have definitely lay eggs before if it's a female.

Yes, I agree with this statement.

The only way to accuratly sex this fish is by venting it. V shaped Male, U shaped female. Other wise it's just a guess you might as well just filp a coin. No one has yet to say why they think it's a female and I'm still courious as what these guesses are based on.

i have to correct my typo error in this part, i meant to say (the black marking in dorsal fin and humps is not possible to apply this one)

Im also curious too

Not to be rude about this fish, but if I was to guess what is this fish made up of. I would say a poor quality ZZ x Malau.

Unless I read the title of the thread wrong I thought it was "Male or Female" which as I saw it is asking for a determination of sex. I don't think you were being rude, if it's a female it has a lot of testosterone in it. It may have more going on there than what it was purchased as. But that's the trouble with some hybirds you can't be sure what it is sometimes which make accurate ID & sexing diffacult.
