Male red terror?

Actually could go either way still. Too small, could today's be a sub dominant male. I've seen sub males with very little spangling and dark dorsal in the front at small sizes. The black isn't as pronounced as it normally is in females. And the coloration of the dorsal isn't screaming female to me. Although I see why the others say that. Wait a while. It will become easier with time.

And no, the peace won't last. My bet is the RTM becomes boss soon and starts shredding fins. But hopefully you have a while to figure things out. Comes down to individual personality of the fish or course. I had a 3.5 inch RTM that would terrorize anything I put in the 125 with it. So just depends on the fish.
