Man captures 6-foot lizard in his yard

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
LOL it's turning into a discussion about cows. There are so many breeds and seperate species yes some will not be able to jump very well at all. We have plenty of them too, such as the belted galloways that are not allowed free roam simply because they are too rare, these are kept in by 4 ft fences. Still it is missing the point of what I was trying to say.

I live in the country... so maybe I have a more blinkered view.
1) Cows can jump and jump very high. I've seen them clear est. 5ft.
2) There are cow related deaths every year in my imediate area (and not including the ones where people have hit them with cars and come just as bad off ;) )
3) Cows had jumped into my neighbours garden and trashed it. I don't remember reading in the news that they also could have stampeded or simply attacked her or her 2 small dogs etc. They were just example animals that people think are lovely and cuddly and more popular but just as/more dangerous.

So maybe I don't think it's quite the same stretch. Either way I'm just saying it's said in the first paragraph to draw in readers and continue the negative view that all reptiles are monsters. No need to keep up the bad reputation because they already have a bad reputation. Just my opinion.

And yes it was the original pet owners fault.
:iagree:Its because of things like this we get more and more restricions to our hobby:irked:

lol I know what you are saying . I was just interested in the cow jumping. At night I see snakes on the side walk if I walk by the cow area.

I sometimes walk there at night to see what snakes are there. I became concerned when you said cows can jump as that never occured to me .
I would have to scale a palm tree for safety.

I will just avoid the area now .
